The devo that stood out to me the most this week was April 1st, Sensitivity. The connection between music, God, and faith is a beautiful way to describe our relationship with Him. My whole life I have been drawn to music. In the same way that I am drawn to God. I love how just like music, God, "washes your conscience, guards your heart, and connects you at the deepest level with your community." I love visualizing faith as an unseen force that is able to find secret places in our soul, rattle our cores, and surround our hearts to guard and protect us.
"to ring harmonious necessitates surrender to a greater tune."
We can live in harmony as long as we keep God as our melody.
Music is a worldwide language that we are not taught to understand, but instead we are able to feel it, dance to it, and help convey the emotions that we can't verbalize for ourselves. God and his everlasting love is able to do this for us if we allow ourselves to surrender to Him and trust in him with our whole being.
