Takeaways from this weeks devo...

Christ has stooped lower, gotten more dirty, was broken more, has sacrificed more, and has bled more. AKA my life is not about me at all, but about Christ always. The test is always there in the summer to think, "this is too hard, this is too difficult, this is impossible". Trust me, I've been there plenty of times! Don't allow that test to become a temptation to give up on what God has called you to this summer. You are called to serve, you are called to give yourself away fully to the work of the Lord. Yes, He demands everything from you; but He also gives you more than everything you need to survive this summer. This full tilt commitment to Christ produces renewal, healing and eternal rest.
