Sacrifice in leadership

This is a lesson that pertains to so many different aspects of relationships in this world. In the workforce, as a parent, anywhere where there someone more qualified or more willing to take care of their colleagues. I frequently see a picture of a boss commanding a team from a position of comfort while the leader is in the midst of the work. 

This year I had signed up for a couple of different things where I would have to be a leader; My track team, our church's mission team, and this Barnabas team. Unfortunately those other opportunities were cancelled but I still managed to learn from the mission trainings that we led. Having a heart of sacrifice is something difficult that needs practice and the right mindset. I'm sure I could improve and I want to be able to keep that heart for the rest of my life.
