Philippians 2:3
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vein conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”
For a few years now I’ve been trying to understand and live by the phrase “plant seeds” meaning that we need to take the time to show up in people’s lives and show them who Jesus really is. We are responsible for being an image or a slight glimpse as to who Jesus is for others to see. “Planting seeds” means to act out of humility, love on others, plant those seeds of Christ to grow and live in them to one day grow and even if you, the one who planted the seeds, is not there to see the fruit that that would be our mission in life. Creating disciples. Watering those who have already been planted. And witnessing the fruit of those around you!
