genuine love of Christ

Being on spring break has been great! It's been full of rest and listening to God's voice, whether this be through worship music or books. I've been able to use this time to grow in specific areas of my faith.

However, with school starting up, I've been praying for my genuine love of Christ to be shown in the ways I allot my time. I can get distracted and sometimes cut out my quiet times/devos. Whenever we want to talk and listen, God ALWAYS listens. He loves us beyond comprehension. In the same way, our love and passion for Christ should fuel our desire for him. I want to lift my "schedule" to him like how Peter was able to "throw caution to the wind and risk his past, present, and future to get to Jesus." Praise God for his extensive, incomprehensible, never-ending, reckless love!

  1. Kellie, this is very encouraging and such a great reminder to ask Christ how He wants us to spend our time. God wants us to invite Him into all that we do: school work, cleaning, family time, free time, etc.
